Katherine Garlick, MFA

Katherine Garlick is a theatre artist and educator based in Austintown, OH, where she is currently an Assistant Professor at Youngstown State University.  ​She serves as the department's costume faculty and resident designer for the University Theatre.  She continues to balance her academic work with professional designs, and is active in reenactment and historical costuming communities.

Katherine holds an MFA from Indiana University, Bloomington, and has had the chance to work across the Mid-Atlantic region.  Favorite theatres include West Virginia Public Theatre, Morgantown; Weston Playhouse, Vermont; Contemporary American Theatre Company (CATCo), Columbus OH; and the Unseam'd Shakespeare Company, Pittsburgh PA.
